EmpowerNet California is an active collaboration of successful organizations, dedicated to helping underserved communities through IT workforce development. Founded to support California communities crossing the digital divide, EmpowerNet offers:

Los Angeles, CA Economic Development Model. Extensive college, school programs, CTC, Labor Market Studies, and broadband deployment to the community.

Firebaugh, CA Dynamic Collaborative Model. Active collaborations with schools, employers and government to bring IT training, jobs and broadband to the community.

San Francisco, CA Job Training/Business Model. Rigorous beginning/intermediate certificated IT training and internships, mixed with life skills support, and a strong social venture business.

San Francisco, CA Vocational Training Model. Technology training, life-skills and Spanish language support, embedded in intensive vocational programs; social venture in development.

Oakland, CA Community Organizing Model. Broad menu of open-enrollment IT and life skills programs for youth and clients entering the career ladder.

San Pablo, CA Primary Focus: IT Workforce Development. Rigorous beginning-to-advanced certificated IT training and internships, mixed with life skills support, and a strong social venture business.
